They say that days are long and the years are short. The daily challenges and chaos. The laughs and tears we remember along the way. Then one day, we look back and where did the time go? That first curl, those tiny toes. What happened to our babies, when did they grow up? Trying to remember the way they used to snuggle your shoulder when they were tired, toothy smiles before teeth were lost. Beautiful memories of your family, your life. They go by too fast.
Since becoming a mother, these moments are all too fleeting. It pains me to watch my babies grow up before my eyes. It hit me hard with our third and last baby. This is it, and I want to remember it all. Every last detail.
And let’s not even get started on how quickly 10 years will fly by. Your wedding day. The single day that all of your favorite people come together to celebrate you and your love. They hang out with you, they meet each other. You reminisce and talk happily about it for years. That day, my friend, is something so magical it cannot even be put into words. Each wedding I get to photograph is truly an amazing experience and I am so full of gratitude for the people I have met and the love I have witnessed.
I grew up in southwest Florida and spent some time in Chicago, Orlando, and the last five years in my husband’s hometown of Buffalo, NY. It is there where this little photography experience of mine is rooted. In a new place, trying to navigate through motherhood and find an identity, I found so much more. I found my inspiration, a way to serve others and, along the way, have made forever friends. We recently moved back to Orlando, FL and I hope to keep growing, creating and helping others to remember the special times in their lives.
I'm a natural light photographer who shoots lifestyle portraits. My goal is to provide a fun experience while capturing beautiful memories with genuine emotion and a natural feel. I love the nostalgic look of film and try to emulate those gorgeous colors and timeless style. I also use medium format film whenever an opportunity presents itself.
Your family, during this season of life, is something very special. These days, these are the good days. The ones you will look back on and want to remember.
I would love to capture these organic moments for you.
