Oh Baby Andrew is so precious and such a good baby! At 10 days, he's a good eater - always hungry and ready for his next meal! As soon as we took him outside, this little man was out. Drew was so happy to be snuggled up on some fur, totally content, catching a little Vitamin D. This baby boy is a deep sleeper with the most adorable little baby snores, I love the way he hangs his mouth open! If you try to close his lips, they open right back up. So cute!! The only time he would close those little lips while asleep is if his chin was tucked into his chest, his favorite sleeping position. Colin and Rae absolutely adore their new brother. They love to hold him and touch him and are always curious about what he's up to. Baby Andrew is a lucky little guy to have so many loving family members around!
I first met this amazing family when they graciously invited me into their home for their son, Christian's newborn photos. I feel incredibly lucky to have been a part of this milestone time in their lives and to be able to capture all the happy memories along the way. Since meeting Janine, Chris, and their sweet baby boy, we have done family photos, corporate head shots, holiday photos, Christian's first birthday photos and now their wedding. It's been so great to be able to watch Christian grow and to witness the joy that radiates from this adorable family.
The Mansion on Delaware is simply gorgeous and was a wonderful venue for this intimate wedding celebration of about 50 guests. Janine and Chris chose the Mansion because they fell in love with all of the beautiful architecture of this historic building. The very talented Lizzy Dugan, of Salon Elizabeth, provided hair and makeup for the bride and her mother and they looked absolutely gorgeous! Janine was breathtaking in her Ann Taylor, ivory lace gown and the rose gold sash she found on Etsy. Her Badgley Mischka shoes in ivory satin with sparkly accents were the perfect compliment to her dress for a fresh look with understated elegance. Everything coordinated perfectly with the couple's rose gold and white gold wedding rings crafted by local jeweler, Barbara Oliver & Company. Janine was going for a light and airy feel for the reception with a little pop of color which was achieved with a mostly white backdrop, enhanced by champagne table clothes with red rose and deep purple calla lily arrangements in varied heights on each table. The stunning table arrangements, along with the bride's bouquet of white and pale pink roses were created by The Floristry. The delicious cake by Dessert Deli featured the cutest cake topper of a couple each holding the hand of their child - so sweet!! I know the cake was amazing because I devoured a piece as soon as I walked into my house. Mary admittedly did the same. People love to feed pregnant women and we will take it! :)
The weather was perfect for an outdoor ceremony, followed by a romantic formal dinner party indoors. Once inside, the bride and groom had their first dance to one of their favorite songs by Dave Matthew's Band and cut their wedding cake as all of their guests looked on. Christian's Godmother, a close friend of Janine's, gave a heartwarming speech about the couple which ended in happy tears and loving embraces from both the bride and groom. You could feel the happiness exploding from both Janine and Chris as the two of them sat together at their sweetheart table and looked out on all of their closest family and friends with love and gratitude. It was such an honor for us to photograph your wedding and to be a part of such a beautiful celebration of love. Congratulations Janine and Chris!
I love all of these little newborns!!! This beautiful little girl was 12 days new for her first photo shoot. Ella was so tiny and sweet and barely made a peep until we undressed her... Baby girl liked to be extra toasty and snuggled up tightly! I love her teeny little toes and the way she sucked in her bottom lip while she was sleeping. Sooo cute!!! And of course, I can never get enough of those delicate baby lashes and that downy baby hair :) Mom and Dad are already pros with their new little one, they simply adore her and Allison has the magic touch whenever Ella starts to fuss. I can't wait to watch this wee one as she continues to grow!
Sweet Eleanor was just 5 days new when we photographed her at home in South Buffalo. She is such a sweet little girl and already well over 7lbs at her first visit to the doctor. I cannot get enough of her full cheeks and those adorable chunky limbs. Eleanor's brother, Griffin, was a happy participant for us and was excited to be able to kiss his new baby sister and tickle her tiny toes. He was hysterical after she kicked her leg back up at him. This pretty little lady already has a forever friend in her big brother!
I loved Elyse's Senior Portrait Session at Woodlawn Beach! We finally lucked out with a gorgeous evening - after several attempts. We know Elyse because she sometimes babysits our two little guys, Tommy and Joey, when she is not working her real job or playing competitive softball. Elyse is one driven high school Senior and will be ready to take on college next year when she begins life as Geneseo student! Here are a few of my favorites from her session...
