I love this chubby little boy! Charlie is my godson and was here in Buffalo, visiting for a few weeks from Texas. He's turning 1 in January. Charlie's already a maniac and gets around crawling on his elbows, dragging his legs behind him like a Navy Seal. It's hilarious, but Chaz can move! He looked so cute in his red Chuck Taylors and jeans, we had to take his shirt off to see that chunky belly! This was my first attempt at a cake smash and he crushed it! You can see in the pictures how excited Charlie was to get at that cupcake. He was an animal, that thing didn't have a chance! Not much was left and he looks disappointed when its done, like he's thinking "what happened?" We were dying watching him attack the cupcake and literally smash it into the ground with both hands, then stuff it in his mouth! So funny!
Happy Birthday big guy!
Andrea warned me that two of four in this family hated getting their picture taken...I think they disguised it pretty well! It was another frigid day with a few snow flurries here and there - just enough snow! As usual, a little too cold to stay outside for long! I had fun chasing the Barczak boys around the house, trying to catch them in action :) Gavin is turning 2 so we thought we could get a few solo shots for his birthday. By the end of our session, little David was posing and asking for props - it was hysterical! I had fun hanging out with you guys, glad we were able to get it done in time for the Auburn/Missouri game!
This is my sister-in-law's beautiful family. What a stunning night we had on the Buffalo waterfront! Don't let the sunny, colorful sky fool you, it was still freezing! My handsome little nephews were troopers with minimal bribes. By now, they are probably used to me chasing them around with a camera :) So happy to have you guys in town for a few weeks!
Baby Natalie is getting so big! She is definitely one of the happiest babies I have ever met and such a little doll. It seriously took 4 adults and one baby for this photo experience :) It's tough being the baby model! All that trying to sit up stuff, especially when there are Christmas presents with bows to pull off and lights to put in your mouth...yeah, had to take those away! Natalie did great and had lots of patience for us and her 3 outfit changes. She's so pretty and full of smiles! The red dress is mommy's from when she was a baby and Grandma saved it all these years! I can't get over how good it looks! I hope these bring a little smile to your family during the holidays. I know Miss Natalie will be adorable and so much fun to watch during her first Christmas!
We love when the Pantera's come to town! I have to give it to these guys... Looking back, it's hard to believe we were able to make this family photo happen. They were in town from Boston for 2 days and we had our first snow storm in Buffalo during those 2 days. Nate was up all night in the hotel before his 1st birthday pictures. Around 6am, their oldest boy woke up violently ill! Everyone somehow pulled it together and we decided to head to Caz Park and see what happens. So glad we did, the snow looks so pretty! And I love all of their outfits - who needs a coat in the snow?! Check out the birthday boy's adorable bday shirt below! Candice and Matt, it was great to see you guys and hang out with your family! The boys are getting so big and we always have fun when you guys are around :)
My friend Abby is also into photography, her company is Barefoot Soul. We thought it would be cool to try some maternity photos around Tifft Nature Preserve because the tall grass was always intriguing. Of course it was in the 20's and super windy the one day we could both get babysitters at the same time! We decided to roll with it and embrace the weather... she sent me a text an hour later that she was still shivering but I think we accomplished what we wanted and got some beautiful shots! Abby, I hope I did ya proud and captured a little of that hippie spirit :) I can't wait to meet little Trudy Mae in January! She's definitely going to be one strong little girl and live up to her name after running around with our wild guys. Congratulations Songin Family!
