Hard to believe it's been a whole year since we did this sweet little man's newborn photos last winter. I just love his humongous blue eyes and his fuzzy red hair that's growing in. His stoic stare and sensitivity just melt me!
Cake was so fun
...Until it wasn't!
We don't know what happened, but Christian was obviously done! Time for a nap, little one!
Oh Carter, you are my favorite little munchkin. You sure kept us on our toes and had us dying laughing, unintentionally. This little fire cracker had his own ideas about how these family photos were going to go. First off, there will be no touching him. That means you, brothers. Secondly, the reindeer will be in Carter's sight at all times. Eventually, he just held it and told us "Myyyy Wwreindeer!!" with such conviction that I would have let him take it home with him. And then it rained, like poured all over us and he forgot about the reindeer and started asking "What's thiiiis?!" and touching his face and hair. Haha! It's rain, dear...ba, dum, bum, Ching. I know, I know, sorry! So it was nearly dark and raining and obviously Carter was done. His big brothers were such troopers and all of us could not help but be totally entertained by the distraught 2yr old and just kept laughing at him. Some day, when the kids are grown, I hope these photos help to tell the affectionate stories of their normally very happy boy and those unpredictable moments they encountered at the raging age of 2! Thank you Riccio's for hanging out with me again in some of Buffalo's finest weather :) You seriously have the most adorable family!!
Not your average deer hunter, eh? That's right, Leah spends her free time hunting whitetails with her father. Her mom said she never takes a bad picture and she was not kidding! Even with a wind advisory and gusts of 40 - 50mph, Leah rocked this session! I love, love, love the breeziness in these photos, and obviously her gorgeousness!!
I have so many favorites. Enjoy...
