Happy, sweet and laid back, Drew is the perfect third child. This easy going little dude is all smiles and giggles. His favorite toys are any that his older siblings are playing with and his rocking giraffe that sings songs as he rides it. I mean, who wouldn't like that?! This guy is happiest when eating table food and currently weighs in at a solid 21lbs. Must be those third born babies...they seem to loooooove real food! He somehow looks exactly like his older brother and sister, who look just like their daddy! Jenny and I were pretty excited that he actually liked the cake, because as combined, we have 4 children who did not love cake at age 1. How is that possible? I have no idea. Well, Drew did pretty nice job on his cake and he had a good time while doing it! Happy 1st Birthday, big guy!!

Karen and Jeremy are just the nicest people. We had a great time strolling around Delaware Park, near Marcy Casino where they actually got married. This couple's beautiful children, Katie and Tommy, both have huge, crystal blue eyes and the fullest little lips. Katie is an adventurous 2 year old, keeping them on their toes, and Tommy is 6 months old with the best baby mohawk ever! There is really so much joy in this foursome. You can't help but smile while watching them interact! It was a surprisingly beautiful 90 degree day in Buffalo and the park was packed! The new restaurant is open by the way, can't wait to try it out!! Katie simply adores her baby brother. She can't get enough of him! After several snuggles from his big sister, Tommy was ready to relax with a tall bottle in the stroller, so we continued on to the playground for a little play time with Miss Kate. She said no to swinging but she loved climbing and would go down the slide with any takers! A perfect way to end a Springtime visit to the park!
First of all, I can't believe this little guy is already one. It feels like yesterday, I was taking his newborn photos. Then, he smiles at us, gets up, starts walking and then takes off RUNNING! What?!?!? He also likes to eat on his own, with silverware. Such an independent guy! And I love his baby cheeks! I just want to squeeeeze them!! Declan cut his first two teeth the same week that he began to walk. They grow up so fast!! He will be a very mature big brother to his little sister who is on the way. If anyone is counting, that makes 3 one year olds that I've seen this month with new siblings on the way and due before the fall! :) This happy boy loves balloons, Sesame Street, and laughing at mom and dad when they act silly. Lizzii made his cake and decorated it as his favorite character, Elmo. Look at that cake!! Those are some baking skills. Cake was fun for awhile... until it wasn't! Declan dove right into the black and white icing of Elmo's eyes and seemed to enjoy eating his cake. Then all of a sudden, he was done. I mean really done! Maybe he was upset that his friend Elmo looked strange? Or he realized the icing didn't come off of his hands? We will never know but he was mad at that cake! We didn't traumatize him too much. Declan got cleaned up, grabbed a few snuggles from mom and was quickly back to his happy self!! Happy 1st Birthday sweet boy!
This little girly has quite the personality on her! Ella is totally adorable with those gigantic blue eyes and she knows what she wants. Don't let her fool you. She did not want to sit down! Haha! This experienced crawler was on the move and she is fast! She really kept us on our toes!! Pearls and Puffs made her pause for a few moments before it was time to explore again! On a side note, who invented Puffs? What are these things made of?! They are like a baby's best friend. As a mother of a 7 month old, I certainly understand the power of a Puff and often wonder what parents did before these tiny treats! Back to Miss Ella...this happy girl already has a mouth full of teeth with more on the way. She's also standing up on her own, all before her first birthday. When it was cake time, Ella went right for the icing. That was delicious and kept her still for a few minutes! She may have brought in some pearls for a little added crunch with her new found new sugary concoction. Icing was fun until she figured out she could move the cake. Then, the real fun began as she tried to knock her cake off the stand and mom kept putting it back. Laughs and giggles galore with that game! Happy 1st Birthday Ella, you are such a little sweetheart!!
Getting ready for summertime...and that means Senior Portraits! I'm so thankful for the beautiful girls that are willing to model for me! Spring is always such an interesting time because we never know what we are going to get as far as weather and nature. It's usually pretty wet and there may or may not be any leaves on the trees. We were lucky to have a gorgeous warm and sunny day among a stretch of extremely rainy days. Madilyn was a great sport in her dress as we wandered through the mud filled woods and hills! It was worth it!! This time I tried something a little different and experimented with both film and digital photos. Film is still like a big surprise because I'm still learning, but somehow it never disappoints! You can get to know my Senior Model, Madilyn in the Senior Spotlight below and then scroll through some of my favorites from this fun styled session!
Senior Spotlight Madilyn This time, I tried something new and used both digital and film. What are your hobbies/interests, and why do they interest you? Music! To me music is such a relieve and a get away. I also love theatre! It's so fun playing a different character Describe your personal style. Modern, and elegant What kind of music is on your favorite playlist? Adele! Love her How would you describe your perfect day? Going to NYC and shopping What are some things you can't live without? Family, friends, and food Describe your personality in 3 words. Fun, outspoken, and caring Where do you see yourself in 10 years? Hopefully somewhere in NYC having some kind of role in fashion! Random fun fact about you... I love pizza logs I am so happy and honored that I get to see all these sweet newborns that I photographed last year again for their first birthdays! It's so great to watch these babies grow! Dylan still has her two toned hair. I love that blond patch on the right side of her head so, so much!! She is such a content little girl. Happy just sitting and taking everything in while sliding her legs back and forth, and giggling. She was terrified of balloons a couple months ago, but she made friends with the mammoth pink birthday balloon below and enjoyed bouncing the beast of balloon all around and sometimes off her head. After a few outfit changes (a girl likes options), it was cake time. Let's just say Dylan enjoyed herself. This girl loves cake. She really got into it and it was amazing! She had cake everywhere, ripped her hat off, cake in the hair, squishing it in between her toes...it was fantastic! She even clapped for herself when she was finished. Well done, Dylan! Well done!!
Film scans back from Spring Break! We took a couple of beach trips to Daytona and Cocoa. The boys loved playing in the waves and this was Tess's first time in the sand! She was less than thrilled when we sat her in the water. It's still a little chilly. The boys can't get enough of Daytona even though there is construction everywhere and no ramp to get the stroller down to the beach. That was a little bit of an adventure. They just like that there's an arcade and ice cream at the beach. I'm still trying to figure out what I'm doing with this film camera, but I do love the nostalgic feel of film and the pastel colors are my favorite! I still look at the back of the camera every time I take a picture even though there's nothing to look at. Waiting for the scans to come back after sending in a roll of film is definitely a fun surprise! :)
