My sister-in-law, Maggie and my two adorable nephews were in town from Houston, TX for a few weeks last month. We decided to check out Green Lake in Orchard Park to take some photos of her little guys. This was both of our first times seeing the park and it was gorgeous! I couldn't believe how beautiful it is out there and lots to do for the kiddos. Max and Charlie had fun running up and down the bridge. The only casualty was the Monsters ball that somehow (ah-hem, Chaz, the silent assassin) ended up in the lake. Whoops! That only caused a minor meltdown and all was good again. We could not figure out where the heck that ball had floated to though. While I was editing, I noticed a blue circle in the background of a few of the photos...found it! Mag, it was so fun to see you guys and watch all the kids hang out together, can't wait to see you guys again soon! So long, Sully and Mike...

It's safe to say, this isn't Natalie's first rodeo when it comes to posing for the camera. She's becoming quite the baby model! In preparation for her rodeo themed 1st birthday party, she was decked out in the cutest cowboy boots (that say "Natty Girl" on the bottom) and a super girly tutu dress. Knox Farm was the perfect spot for this shoot! I still can't get over how cooperative she was and how cute she is! Every time I was going through these to edit, I would literally laugh to myself at all of her little faces. And I can't even get over her outfit. Thank you Kelley, for making me want to have a girl to dress up! I was done!! Lol. 20 mph wind gusts and 50 degree weather (yep, in June - thanks for keeping us guessing, Buffalo!) made for an adventure with the balloons, but Natalie was a trooper in her barely there tutu dress. She was all smiles for the walkers and joggers that stopped to look and wave. I still can't believe that she's already going to be 1, such a big girl now! Happy 1st Birthday, Natalie! Looking forward to celebrating with you on your big day!
At 3yrs and "4 and 3/4" (as Mia says), these little guys are already world travelers. They are from Australia and have been living in Canada for the last couple of years. Time is up for their Canadian excursion and they are moving back down under, but not before they travel to Bulgaria so see some more relatives! In between all the big travel plans, they were able to squeeze in one last visit to Buffalo to hang out with the whole Carr family. Unfortunately, my little guy was sick so they didn't get to play this time, but I was happy for the opportunity to see Emma, Mia, Luca, Kathleen and Kevin before they headed home. We were lucky to have a pretty and clear morning at Green Lake before the storm rolled in that afternoon. The kids had a good time finding feathers and throwing rocks in the lake but I think they had the most fun playing with their grandpa! It was fun for me to watch everyone interact and to see all the love they have for each other! Best wishes for your upcoming adventures! xo
These two little guys are super cute! Jackson is a proud big brother (as well as a fireman!)... When I walked in, he was wearing his fire helmet and was carrying his toy fire extinguisher around the house, his mom said he wouldn't leave the house without his helmet for about a year. Lol! He let me play with his police helicopter to help 'find fires' while he used the fire truck to put them out. Oh and he corrected me and showed me the right way to put out a fire with the extinguisher! Obviously a rookie :) Grayson is such a sweet little newborn. I loved that he already has little baby rolls, that's the best! He also has this adorable little snort when he gets mad (like when we kept pulling his pacifier out of his mouth - poor guy!). I couldn't help but laugh when he kept snorting, it was so funny! Jackson was always very aware of what his baby brother was doing and was extremely gentle with him, so sweet! These two are going to be best buds in a couple of years!
