Lizzii and Mike are the sweetest couple. I knew I loved the idea of their Great Gatsby themed wedding and was so excited to see it come to life! Red roses and glittering gold details draped in pearls accented the brand new ballroom at The Columns in Elma which was already furnished with the most beautiful chandeliers. From the invitation, to the jewelry and antique style hair pieces, everything had a jubilant 1920's vibe. Everything had a glamorous feel, with a ton of DIY touches. The bride's aunt even designed and made their own candy table! The ceremony arch, floral and tulle chair accents, table centerpieces, place cards - pretty much every gorgeous, glittery detail was handmade. The bride's vintage style dress was all lace and sequins and simply gorgeous. With an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour scheduled, all eyes were on the sky above. Chairs were set up outside, then moved inside, then outside...and then it poured! Only for a few minutes, but enough for a beautiful indoor ceremony and Gatsby style cocktails in the grand ballroom. After strawberry wedding cake with vanilla ice cream and first dances, the crowd let loose. The bride and groom got the party started when they danced and sang along to MJ. Everyone hit the dance floor, including Grandma! So much fun!! Congratulations Mike and Liizzi! Hope you had an amazing honeymoon and that you have an eternity of blissful togetherness! A huge thank you to Mary O'Sullivan for being my second shooter and for all of the beautiful moments she was able to inspire and capture! I <3 weddings with you!!!
My sister-in-law and brother-in-law just had twins! They also have a 4 yr old and 2 yr old. Tommy and I went to Houston for a little visit to meet the girls and hang with the cousins. Here's the story... Such beautiful babies! I can't take it!! Love their nursery! A day in the life... One outfit down... And our friendly neighborhood Spider-man swoops in, ready for action. All hands on deck! Who called for backup? Our helpers The cast and crew of this production
This started out as a beach photo session, but that was quickly rethought when we arrived at the beach and experienced a crazy sand storm. We were able to find some pretty light and no wind a few yards away. Unbelievable - the weather around here has been wild! This little cutie was a pro in front of the camera, exuding some serious adorableness!! We had a quick outfit change and then the mosquitoes found us. Swarms of them... A little running around with dad, some smiles for mommy and a few "ta -das" later and we were ready to wrap it up. This session was short and sweet, just like Grace :) Looking forward to spending more time with little Gracie when she becomes a big sister!!
