This year's group family photo session. 91 degrees, 100% humidity. The hottest day of the year, but the only day we could do it. It was so incredibly hot, we lasted less than 5 minutes. Everyone was completely soaked with sweat and beyond thrilled to be at the beach in their nice clothes. The older kids were mad they couldn't go in the water because it was closed due to harmful bacteria. Ewww! The babies decided to hate sand on this particular day and Tess screamed most of the time. (This is becoming a trend.) We took some really great photos on film, but I realized later that I had never loaded the film in the camera. So, life happens. This is our crazy life right now.
On a side note, doesn't Mary look amazing!!! I can't believe baby #3 is due in January!!

The happiest baby on the block! She really is...we live across the street and Adeline is always smiling and laughing! With her toothy grin and her little pixie hair, how can you not smile with her?! And after this session, Tess is not invited to any future sessions. We had the happiest baby and the crabbiest baby in the same house. Enjoy the many adorable faces of this angelic little one in her beautiful nursery!
This lacrosse goalie already has a spot at Manhattan College on lock down. Smart and sporty with both athletic and academic scholarships! He likes the city life so he will do just fine in NYC!! What a gorgeous Indian Summer night we had on the Buffalo waterfront for this session!
Sweet baby Gracie is just 8 days in these photos, all 5 lbs of her! She's such a tiny little girl!! Big brother, Declan, was not sure what was going on. He was very serious. We were joking that he was giving us Blue Steel. Whatever he was thinking, he was looking cute. Gracie girl was super adorable as we basically wrapped her up like a present. Such a little peanut!! I just love watching this family grow! I can't even believe Mike and Lizzii have 2 children now. I feel like it was yesterday that Mary and I were taking photos at their wedding! Now, they are parents of a beautiful baby girl and handsome little guy and I couldn't be happier for them! I am so thankful to be able to capture these milestones in their lives! Take it all in, that sweet baby smell, every coo, snuggle, hand being held...it all goes by too quickly!! (Says the mom who's last baby is now a toddler...where are all the sad emojis when I need them???)
Mary Catherine and Alex will be getting married in Tuscany in a few short weeks. Before the big day, they knew they needed to have a civil ceremony in the U.S. Since they were coming all the way from London, why not have all the wedding festivities during one trip?! With family in NJ and Buffalo, they somehow managed it! Engagement Party in NJ, check. Bridal shower in Buffalo, check. Legally become husband and wife, check. Next stop, a fairy tale wedding in the Italian countryside! Living the dream, these two! Congratulations Mary Catherine and Alex! It was a beautiful celebration and I was so happy to be a part of it. I hope you have the most wonderful wedding in Tuscany and I wish you a lifetime of happiness together! Ciao!!
How is our little peanut already one year old?! She is walking, trying to repeat words, clapping and not wanting to sit down. Ever. Not even in the tub or high chair, and especially not while at Wegman's or Target. This is one busy little girl. She was sick, teething and has scabs on the tops of every single toe from Joey taking her for a ride in the red push car, but she performed. Come on, we all knew she'd be fine with a cake in front of her. If there's one thing P like to do, it's eat! She walks around the house screaming MY with her hand out whenever she hears a package opening or someone in the kitchen. She is something!
Things I'd like to remember: She has 4 teeth. The top 2 teeth are coming in going different directions, like East and West. She loves playing rough with the boys and is not afraid to pile jump when she sees an opportunity. She smiles and does a little dance when she hears a song she likes. Has a few words: Dada, My, Mama, Bubba, Ow. Her favorite item is "Pinky," her pink blanket that she pulls out of her crib and rubs up to her nose when she's tired. She sucks her tongue to soothe herself and go to sleep. Loves to sleep in her crib, definitely the easiest baby to put to bed. She doesn't make a peep. Loves any type of ball or sword the boys leave behind. Favorite thing to do is to go up the stairs or roll away while you are changing her diaper. Happy Birthday baby girl!! We may have to call you the baby forever, even though you have thought you were 4 since birth. It takes a village. I owe a huge thank you to Mary O'Sullivan and Fran for coming over to help entertain this little stinker and to Kelley Comerford for the beautiful floral arrangement she created for the cake! Thank you so very much!!! These kiddos are absolutely adorable and the whole family's outfits are perfect!! Vera looked like she came right out of The Gap Kids catalog and she loves hanging out with her mommy and daddy. Brennan was definitely in superhero mode. Oh, the essence of kids being kids!! He thought he was the Hulk for the entire photo session. He really got into character and would only answer to Hulk. Even candy did not get him to break character. Haha! Brennan was serious... flexing his muscles, jumping off 'buildings' and growling "Hulk smash MORE!". It was too funny. I remember when our oldest went through a Hulk phase and I actually kind of miss that. He would take off his shirt and tell us he was "hulking out". I love their imaginations, they grow up too fast!!
Just wanting to remember this season in our lives. I love the kids ages right now. They are all young enough to still want to hang out with us and independent enough to play on their own. Sort of. There is a lot of fighting, arguing, and crying, but watching them all together is everything.
And I wish it would stay summer in Buffalo forever! Baby Reid has arrived to join his big brother and sister! They were beyond excited to welcome their newest sibling. Let the craziness of zone coverage begin! This tiniest addition is the sweetest little boy with beautiful blue eyes and chubby little cheeks. So far, Reid is happiest swaddled up and sleeping while Luke and Addison play around him. Win for mom and dad! Congratulations to the Boyle's! You have such a lovely family!!
This adorable guy was all smiles on his first birthday! He was quite the little ham, laughing and giggling for us. At one point, Jackson even put his hand on his hip and was posing for his pictures. He is something else! I love his toothy grin and his wispy blond hair, such a handsome fella. Jackson was surprisingly dainty while trying cake for the first time. Then, he realized he could flip the stand! Game over. He was covered in icing and wanted nothing more to do with it! Once the cake was properly destroyed, he stood up and clapped for himself! Way to go Jackson!! Hope you had a great first birthday, Buddy!!
