Oh Buffalo, and your amazing weather... We were actually hiding in the woods while it was raining for this adorable family session. Grandma had the brilliant idea to go into the woods so the baby would not get wet. It worked! The trees shielded us from the wind and raindrops and it really worked out nicely. Sweet baby Pierce was totally enamored with the trees and our surroundings. This happy boy was laser focused on all of the colorful leaves rustling around him. It was so great that everyone in this incredible family jumped in to wave leaves, tree branches, keys - any thing we could find to make him look my way. All hands on deck, literally. Even in the rain and with the distraction of the bazillon leaves everywhere, we were able to catch some of Pierce's lovable 6 month expressions, drool-y smiles and those amazing steely blue eyes. 6 months is such a cute age!! Oooh... leaves!

Brothers are so funny. They love each other so much one minute, giving hugs, turned to choke holds and then they are screaming at each other and crying...only to start laughing hysterically at each other and playing happily again. All. Day. Long. Pretending to be super heroes, chasing each other, or crushing Tim Bits, I loved being able to witness every side of Jamieson and Kellan's brotherly bond! Watching these adorable little guys grow up is the best!
There is something about Autumn and what seems like constant precipitation, but you can't beat cozy-ing up on a cool and misty Fall day. I love this relaxed and laid back couple and had a great time catching their laughs and sweet glimpses at one another while dodging rain drops :) Stephanie and Jon totally made the best of a wet and chilly October day and snuggled and laughed through it! Can't wait to capture their big day next July!!!
Baby Leo, growing up so fast! I cannot even believe it's been a year since we shot his newborn photos. This little man is so adorable, I just want to squish his cheeks. I absolutely love how he says "CAR" with such enthusiasm and uses his whole face for extra emphasis! Glad to see he is still hanging out with Bear Bear. The giant stuffed bear has become a regular at Leo's photo shoots. :)
I love this nature filled, woodsy backdrop Julia chose for her Senior session. I had a dream like, filmy vision for these when Julia mentioned that as kids, her and a friend used to swing from a huge vine. I like that we were able to incorporate a little nostalgia into her senior pictures!
Fall has certainly arrived. Matt was pumped because this means football and deer hunting season, his favorite time of year! It was only fitting that we were actually standing among deer beds during his photo session!
