Let the holiday cheer continue into mid January!! I know it's late, but I really wanted to share some of the photos from our holiday mini sessions in Buffalo, NY. There were just too many good ones to share individually, so I decided to make a blog post of a few of my favorites!
I hadn't anticipated that I would be able to do these sessions in WNY since we had moved to Orlando, but so many people reached out and I thought...maybe we CAN do this. Mary was open to the idea and Rebecca at quaint rentals was also on board. The last piece of the puzzle was a location, and that was really not decided until the 25th hour. I'm so lucky everyone was so relaxed about the details and trusted that we would find the right space. My brother-in-law and sister-in-law graciously let us use their beautiful back porch. It is covered and has a working fireplace, perfect for the less than ideal weather in November. There was a windy and slushy snow storm the day before, so we were lucky the area was a bit sheltered. Rebecca turned the space into a very inviting, winter wonderland! I'm so happy that it all worked out! Mary and I loved seeing all of these families. It's amazing how quickly the kids grow and change over the course of a few months. We got to meet new babies, saw babies we photographed last year that are now walking, and conversed with kids we've known for years that seem so grown up and mature now. Sure, we worked through some tears and wiped a few cold weather boogies, but TimBits, cookies and hot chocolate seem to always work their magic! I also happen to think that those candids make for the best Christmas cards!! Thank you so much, to everyone who reached out to me about doing holiday mini sessions again, you ultimately made this happen!! And, thank you to Mary, Rebecca, and the very generous Boryszak family, especially Rita who was sweeping, cleaning and continuously adding wood to the fire while we did our thing on her patio! Thank you!!

A look at our setup by quaint rentals for our 2019 Holiday Mini Sessions! It's so pretty!! I still can't believe we did this again! When we moved to Orlando, FL, I really didn't think this Buffalo tradition would continue, but I'm so happy it worked out! Thank you so much to my brother and sister-in-law for allowing us to use their beautiful back porch, it was perfect! Thank you, Mary, for your endless help and for singing, dancing, and having every kid's song known to man at the ready on your phone! And a huge thank you to all of our wonderful clients who waited for this day and showed up when the weather was less than ideal. I am so grateful for each and every one of you!
What's the best early Christmas gift?! How about a new puppy!!!
It's always so nice to see friends when we visit Orlando. Aren't these dapper little guys the cutest?! This was their first day with their brand new, blue-eyed puppy!! I'm so glad we were able to sneak in a few holiday pics...and this adorable little pup with that brown patch over his eye, kind of makes me want to get a dog! Kind of. Maybe after our littlest animal, I mean toddler, is potty trained. We had a lot of fun at our Holiday Mini Sessions this year and oh, how we loved the beautiful set up by Quaint Rentals! These mini sessions always give me total anxiety as we wait to see what the weather brings in November. We lucked out with a sunny day in the middle of a week full of freezing rain, and you can't ask for more than that! I loved seeing all of these families again and I can't get over some of these adorable holiday outfits!! Thank you so much, Mary O'Sullivan, for all of your help and for always being able to make the kiddos laugh! I hope everyone has an amazing holiday season! Below are a few of my favorites from our minis!
Coloring eggs with Gramma and Poppa on a break from the pool. We ended up with 2 blue dye pellets, a purple that was mostly blue, and zero pastel colors. We also had a tube of gold glitter and a sponge to mix it up. Mama definitely shopped at the Dollar Store for these goodies!
I loved our Holiday Minis so much this year! So much cuteness!! I like to wait to post the photos until Christmas cards have been sent :) We had a cold and windy November day in Buffalo which seemed fitting to start of the winter season, especially after our beautiful summer. Thank you so much to all of the wonderful families who participated this year. I truly believe I have the best clients and apprecaite everyone's support. I really enjoy spending time with each and everyone one of you and watching all of your lovely families grow year after year. A huge thank you to Mary O'Sullivan for all of her help and creativity. Thank you for making me feel ok about making a meal of cookies and donut holes, and to her husband for introducing me to hot apple cider. I think skin on the roof of my mouth finally grew back!
Hope everyone enjoys the holidays. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!! Christmas time in Florida...
Cannot even take the cuteness! Love these two little guys in their holiday gear :) |
