This sweet maternity session is full of glow. Lori brought the gorgeous pregnancy glow and the sun setting behind the trees provided the most beautiful warm, sunshiny glow. Just a few of my favorite things! And they brought along their doggy!! I have been photographing so many dogs lately and I do love it. They remind me of toddlers as we bribe them with toys and treats and they sure do make everything a bit cuter!
I think we may be seeing a quarantine baby boom in the next couple of months and I am here for it!! Bring on those new babies! Dress: Free People

Ahh! One of my dearest friends in Orlando is having a baby! I think all of us moms are relishing in this! Our sons are all best friends so he asked Tommy what it's like to have a baby sister. Tommy's reply was supposedly "ehhh", which he aggressively denies. Haha! Depends on the day I'm sure! In reality, the littlest sister so far, is not one to be left out and follows all of these boys everywhere. Looking forward to having another girl to hang with! We all cannot wait to meet this baby girl in a few short weeks!!
This sweet family is preparing to become a party of four! When you are pregnant, it can sometimes feel like an eternity. Looking back, you start to forget the feeling of having a bump. The way your baby hugged your bump, the tiny kicks that kept you up all night..those memories fade. I was so happy to be able to capture this time of being a family of three along with maternity photos to remember this special time in their lives. I believe it is so important to have tangible memories we can always look back upon. Someday, these will be the old photographs we share with our older children and grandchildren. And this Iittle girl's pout may just be the cutest! She perked up any time we mentioned her baby sister and she knew right were that little one is, pointing to and hugging her mama's belly! The deep roots of those sibling bonds begin early. We took these photos outside of Lake Nona and the light coming through the trees was so pretty. Totally worth waking up early for it!! I can't wait to meet this family's new baby girl in a few short months!!
“Every part of their being is truly a miracle. This truth is more engrained in my heart than ever and I cherish all the moments that make them who they are, and who we are as a family." - Colleen, Expectant Mother The full story is featured over at The Fount Collective Colleen is a such a beautiful mother, inside and out, and really such a great friend. John and my husband have been best friends since high school! Their kids are sweet and adorable and our families always have the best time hanging out together. Since we live in different cities, this often includes family slumber parties, when us parents may stay up too late talking life and often drinking a little too much. I am so happy I was able to photograph this season for their family and can hardly wait to meet their brand new baby boy! We also took some photos at home with their very first baby, Nala! I met Stephanie + KC for maternity photos at their home, just a week before the arrival of their new baby girl. Stephanie is one stunning mama! This amazing view is what they look out at from their home, every day!
I know we are all busy and sometimes just getting through the day. These moments, happening right before us, are worth documenting. This stage, whatever it is, is part of your story. Those times of togetherness. Seemingly ordinary, but so very meaningful. The way she clings to your hip and kisses your face. The knowing glances shared over all the silliness. The special, little details like tiny toes and tight, blonde curls. How he laughs hysterically, while snuggling in close. That growing bump, so full of new life. Through the chaos, we are all making memories each day, as a family. The smirks and laughs, pouts and cuddles, those special nuances that are unique to your family. I would love make these tangible treasures with you. Keepsakes of moments shared together, in beautiful light, that you will always have to look back on.
This is the last installment from my time at The Magically Mundane Workshop with Daphne Mae Photography! Sausilito, California was absolutely beautiful and the families that we met were just so wonderful and I really dragged it out for as long as possible! Since these photos were taken, this adorable family welcomed a new baby boy!! I think it's fun to look back on that time of anticipation and to remember the hope and wonder of what was to come! You know you are in a photographer home when the doggies that greet you are named "Bokeh" and "ISO"!! Nanette and Karl are photographers in the Naples area, their work is just beautiful! I met Nanette on Instagram and was so excited to meet up with her in real life! I feel so honored and just over the moon happy that I was invited into their home during this special time in their lives. Their playful little boy, Teddy, is full of curiosity and so adorable with his big blue eyes and blonde curls. He seems to be ready for this big brother thing! These days leading up to the new baby are full of playful moments, complete with tickles and snuggles for Teddy and his fur buddies while they await the arrival of this little newcomer. The sweetest of anticipations!
I got the film scans back from Mary's maternity session and I am obsessed! Oh, how much I love these!! I am so happy we decided to do this, even though it was cold and overcast. Mary, you look stunning. Molly and Fran are so adorable. Film is amazing and is somehow always worth the wait. I'm so excited to meet this baby girl! I really hope she arrives before we move!!!
This baby is about to makes it's debut, like any minute. Melanie is super pregnant and trying to speed things along. Literally, I just saw her dancing at a wedding this weekend! But we are still waiting for baby. I can hardly wait to meet this little nugget! Any day, now, little one!!!
I tried using some film during our time at the beach and had a few shots that were actually keepers so that was a nice surprise! I guess we'll call it a hybrid session. Ha! Below are a few of my favorites from Melanie's beautiful beach maternity session! Sweet baby James is enjoying his last few days as an only child. He is soooo cute. I want to squeeeeze those chunky cheeks and bottle up all his giggles. He was so happy playing in the leaves! James was cracking us up with his graceful attempts at getting back in his wagon gone wrong when he finally just belly flopped in. It got the job done! Kelly is basically ready to pop with this new baby due any day!! Can't wait to meet the newest member of their family! Where's the baby?!
