Baby Sydney at 5 weeks. I really cannot get enough of her spiky black hair. She is so adorable!! It was pretty dark and started raining when I arrived for this in-home session so we moved out to their super cute bohemian styled patio. I loved everything about it and the pups even hung out for a few photos! Enjoy a few of my favs below!

I love all the newborn details. It often hurts to remember how long ago it was for me now, but also awakens me to the fact that these are the things I would want to never forget. A tiny warm baby on your chest. Drowsy little eyelids, fingers wrapped in your hair, open mouth sleeping in your arms. It's real and its raw and it's truly breathtaking.
Meet baby John. He is really so sweet and deeply loved. This squishy little guy just melted me! I have really loved having the opportunity to meet and photograph so many new and familiar families this year. It is an absolute privilege to meet your new babies and see your little ones as they grow. These experiences bring me so much joy. I am overwhelmingly grateful for each and every one of you!
The sweetest family and the cutest little baby boy that just wanted to be held. I remember how hard the newborn stage is but truly, there is nothing quite like those snuggly newborn babies. Here are just a few of my many favorites from this beautiful in-home newborn session. I felt this was a match made in heaven when I stepped into this gorgeous home. This momma is a fellow lover of neutrals and clearly speaks my aesthetic love language! Sweet baby Turner was also a little dream baby during our session, so happy and alert at 8 weeks. Also, their cute pup was not one to be left out of the photos. He happily sat or laid down for photos without even being asked to come over! Below are just a few of my many favorites from this in home newborn session!
I love seeing the newborns I have had the opportunity to photograph as older babies. They are smiling, moving, and really, as this momma put it, "in prime cuteness". This little beach babe loved the salt water and of course, eating the sand. This is such a fun age! Nora was pretty darn adorable, with her one tooth grin, trying to put anything and everything into her mouth as she was cutting more teeth. Her favorite part of the morning was sitting in the water and having the waves crash into her. No fear of the water here! Thank you for trusting me with your beautiful memories.
And please, give me all the sunrise sessions with babies at the beach!!! Dress and baby's outfit: Rylee and Cru This sweet maternity session is full of glow. Lori brought the gorgeous pregnancy glow and the sun setting behind the trees provided the most beautiful warm, sunshiny glow. Just a few of my favorite things! And they brought along their doggy!! I have been photographing so many dogs lately and I do love it. They remind me of toddlers as we bribe them with toys and treats and they sure do make everything a bit cuter!
I think we may be seeing a quarantine baby boom in the next couple of months and I am here for it!! Bring on those new babies! Dress: Free People Life sure is lively with two under two! This gorgeous family is full of fun. We may have been watching Moana while doing photos and bribing a very cute toddler with cheese but she was happy, so whatever works! I had met Katie when her first baby was about 3 months old and was so excited to meet their newest addition and capture this crazy sweet time in their beautiful new home. Oh my word, their new baby boy is absolutely adorable! He has the cutest little mohawk hair and is so smiley! I really, really miss the days when my own kiddos were this young. It is a wild ride, but full of so much goodness and such great memories!
These two are seriously the cutest together. They are high school sweethearts! He was overseas for 6 years and is finally back for good. It is easy to recognize how happy they make each other! They also brought a golden retriever puppy into their little fam who is so adorable! It was really difficult for me to narrow these down so I'm oversharing. Enjoy some of my many favorites from this sweet engagement session below!
Ahh! One of my dearest friends in Orlando is having a baby! I think all of us moms are relishing in this! Our sons are all best friends so he asked Tommy what it's like to have a baby sister. Tommy's reply was supposedly "ehhh", which he aggressively denies. Haha! Depends on the day I'm sure! In reality, the littlest sister so far, is not one to be left out and follows all of these boys everywhere. Looking forward to having another girl to hang with! We all cannot wait to meet this baby girl in a few short weeks!!
This beach elopement at LaPlaya Beach and Gulf Resort was so beautiful. The sun peeked out from behind the clouds over this stretch of beach as it rained all around us. Trinity Event Rentals created a simple and elegant arbor on the beach with ivory chiffon draping around the top and sides with gorgeous florals by Botanicals on the Gulf hung from above. It was perfect for this intimate wedding! Katherine and Ray were married years ago and after being separated for the last three years, they found their way back to each other. They recited their own vows to each other in a unique and heartfelt ceremony. Tears of joy were shed as they reaffirmed their deep love for one another. It was so sweet!
Congratulations Katherine + Ray! I am so honored to have been able to document this special day for you!! Thank you to all of the wonderful vendors that made this day so memorable!
